Do you struggle to stay organized?

You’re not alone.

When to hire a professional

If an over-crowded home is causing daily stress, anxiety, and is affecting your ability to work, study, or parent - consider investing in professional coaching.

If you know you want to change your relationship with clutter, but have no idea how to begin, you’re in the right place!

  • You will have a certified professional organizer coaching you through the decluttering process. Expect support with direction, decision-making, and identifying the complex emotions that may arise as you work through your possessions.

  • All clients start with a Clutter Consultation in order to identify a path forward. From there you can continue with virtual coaching or book in-person services.

  • Cost depends on how much support you choose. A single Clutter Consultation will kick off your personal decluttering journey, and there is weekly, monthly, or in-person coaching available.

The Decluttering Process

How it works

Heather will first do a decluttering consultation with you. This includes a virtual home tour as well as a casual conversation about the impact clutter has on your daily life.

The consultation will help determine the best path forward, identifying which areas to prioritize. Heather will then suggest a plan that works for your goals, timeline and budget.

The Method

Heather works with the KonMari Method® of decluttering. Created by Marie Kondo, this method suggests decluttering by category, not by room, and making decisions based on what brings joy to your life.

Categories: Clothing, Books, Papers, Komono (Miscellaneous), Sentimental Items.

By working through the home in this order, you will be able to better develop critical skills that lead to a successful decluttering experience. By addressing our belongings, we invite ourselves to examine our own attachment to them, naturally leading to important self-discovery. This is what will help you to avoid re-cluttering your space.

Ongoing Support

Whether you need weekly or monthly support, short or long term, Heather will design the right plan to ensure you are supported throughout your journey.

Certified Professional Organizer

Heather Bélanger

Heather Bélanger uses a unique approach to targeting unwanted clutter: she helps you organize your mind.

Addressing the reasons excess possessions accumulate is equally as important as actually organizing the space.

You know it’s a problem.

You want things to change.

But you just can’t get started.

Why do we hold on to so much?

Why do we put off dealing with it?

We must learn what’s behind the behaviour in order to change it for good.

Heather is professionally trained in decluttering methods and home styling. She is the only person in Manitoba certified to use the KonMari Method of organization. Heather uses these skills to teach and support others in their journey toward living a more peaceful, happy life.

Clutter takes time to pile up, and it will take time to go through it.

Decluttering years of our “stuff” can seem daunting, and is often not a priority unless life forces it to be one. Attempting to make important decisions while under pressure or actively grieving can lead to fatigue, frustration, and possible regret. Start now.

Gift yourself the opportunity to get ahead of your possessions and take control of your space!

Now is the time to start!
